YBRP

Yella Belly RP is a Rook & Ink product ecosystem for narrative community systems: events, almanacs, atlas, trade, and journals. Anglers League is the first event implementation.

Parent explains here Product runs on ybrp.rookandink.com Event path: /events/anglers-league

Problem

Community roleplay platforms often sprawl into one-off tools: uploads here, scoring there, Discord announcements elsewhere. Without a product boundary, every event becomes a rewrite.

Approach

Treat YBRP as a modular monolith under Rook & Ink. One public host, one admin host, one API host. Events are paths. Shared modules cover seasons, rounds, challenges, submissions, scoring, leaderboards, and integrations.

Architecture (target)

ybrp.rookandink.com
├── /events/anglers-league ← first event
├── /leaderboards
├── /almanac · /atlas · /trade · /journals
ybrp-admin.rookandink.com ← ops
ybrp-api.rookandink.com/v1 ← single API

Demonstrates

Product subdomain strategy, event-as-path design, and parent portfolio framing that does not turn the Rook & Ink brand site into a roleplay-only platform.
